Gmail to extend free phone calling in 2011
Google's idea of an early Christmas present is one that all Gmail users in the U.S. and Canada will more than welcome. Gmail's free phone calling service, announced in August earlier this year,
will now extend into 2011 with no set date for its expiry just yet. Google Voice is the driver behind Gmail's free phone calling system, which lets you make PC-to-Phone calls anywhere in the U.S.
And the free Gmail calls going into 2011 announcement came on Gmail's Blog, "In the spirit of holiday giving and to help people keep in touch in the new year, we’re extending free calling for all of 2011."
The free phone calls through Gmail facility is still not available in India. Hopefully, the service will at least debut in India next year.
